TNA One Night Only #OldSchool PPV Results & Review: Magnus vs. Joe for the World Title, Bully Ray vs. Tommy Dreamer, Jeff Hardy/Abyss in Monster’s Ball

-Eric Young comes out and says that he's been in TNA since 2004, and if they got rid of "that broad" Dixie Carter, he could be the new President. He declares himself President of the World, and introduces his "favorite Knockout" Velvet Sky. Bad Influence comes down and puts themselves over, but they are interrupted by the BroMans, who bring down Lei'd Tapa. Young books a Mixed Tag Team Match with himself as the special guest referee.

Bad Influence & Velvet Sky def. The BroMans & Lei'd Tapa

Jessie Godderz tries to out-wrestle Chris Daniels to start the match, and it doesn't work. Robbie E makes the tag for his team and gets double teamed by Bad Influence. Kaz with a quick float-over sit-down slam, and special referee Eric Young counts two. Robbie dives to the outside but comes in empty. In comes Lei'd Tapa, so the obligatory tag to Velvet Sky is made. Velvet uses her speed to try and take out Tapa's left leg with kicks, but Tapa chokeslams her into the corner. All four men hit the ring as Bad Influence take the BroMans to school. Amazing spot where Kaz hits a Northern Lights suplex on Jessie while bridge pinning Robbie; two-count. Tapa steamrolls both guys with a clothesline from behind. Velvet Sky with a top rope crossbody, and Bad Influence picks her up and tosses her to the outside, taking out Lei'd Tapa. The BroMans try for the Bro-Down, but Bad Influence hits Hi-Low on Jessie for the 1-2-3.

Mike's Thoughts: Every time Bad Influence are in the ring together, they come up with innovative tag team moves, most of which are nearly impossible to write about. They really are one of, if not the best tag team in the biz-a-niss today. It's a shame they aren't utilized better on Impact right now. Since when is Velvet EY's favorite Knockout, by the way? This whole segment kind of felt like a thrown-together live event. Plus, last time I checked, five out of the six people in this match are working as heels on TV. It's not helping the lack of crowd participated in this show tonight.
