WWE Main Event Results (3/4): Detroit, MI – Daniel Bryan vs. Kane, The Usos Defend Tag Team Championships; Vote on New Review Format

The Usos come out and Renee Young is in the ring, asking them about their big title victory last night on Raw. They get a bit excited, scream about going to WrestleMania, and this brings out the Outlaws. The former champs don't look dressed to compete. Road Dogg kicks Renee out of the ring and makes fun of Detroit – cheap heat. He announces that, due to an injury, they have to put off their rematch.

Brad Maddox comes out and confirms Road Dogg's injury. However, he announces that a tag team championship match will take place on Main Event tonight, and brings out their new opponents, Los Matadores.

Mike's Thoughts: A little bait-and-switch from WWE tonight. Normally, I'd be against it as a business tactic, but since they are finally trying to get some heat on the Outlaws it was actually a pretty clever move. They probably shouldn't give the Usos a live microphone. Neither is a great talker, and should show off their strength in the ring, rather than expose their weakness when their title push is so new. Strap them with a manager – what's big daddy Rikishi doing?

WWE Tag Team Championship Match

The Usos (c) vs. Los Matadores

Jimmy Uso starts things off with…Fernando? Is that one of their names? They do a little counter-wrestling that ends with stereo dropkicks; neither guy connects. We get a little dueling "USO" and "Ole!" chants between the two.

Diego and Jey Uso lock up, and again neither can get a real advantage. Diego stops him in mid-attack and does an "Ole!" chant, but Jey does a few dance moves followed by his respective chant. The Usos end up going suicide dive to the outside, taking out everyone.
