Adrian Neville vs. Curt Hawkins
Hawkins wins a lock-up and celebrates prematurally, so Neville kicks him in the head. They lock up again and Hawkins clothesline the back of the champion's head. He hits a back suplex and transitions right into a side headlock.
Can we take a minute to express my surprise that Curt Hawkins is still alive?
Just like that, Neville hits a missile dropkick and is back in control. He jumps to the top rope, hits the Red Arrow, and this one is over.

-Tyson Kidd comes out and informs the champion that he's going to take the title next week at NXT Takedown. He says he's been on Raw, Smackdown, he's a former WWE Tag Team Champion, and he's had a WrestleMania moment. He wants that feeling back, and the NXT Championship is his stepping stone to getting there. Adrian Neville takes the mic and says nobody uses him as a springboard for their own career. He says he's the future, and Tyson is standing in his ring. Adrian says at Takeover, the only person taking home gold will be Tyson Kidd's wife.
KILLAM: Quick win for the champion going into next week's title match. I guess nothing to complain about; not much to get excited about either. They're just trying to keep him in your mind. On the plus side, that was the single best promo of Neville's career – AND HE NEEDED IT. More of that, and I'll get behind his title run. Tyson is doing the best work in some time as well.
