Daniel Bryan is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after tonight's WWE Payback pay-per-view and special event. WWE executive Stephanie McMahon brought out the champion and once again offered him two options – surrender the title or she would fire his wife, WWE Diva Brie Bella.
Seconds before Bryan was ready to give up the championship, Brie stepped up and told Stephanie that she was sick of being a powerless victim in this story, and took control by quitting the WWE. McMahon began laughing, but Bella slapped her across the face – to a great reaction from the Chicago crowd – and Stephanie retreated to the back.
Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella celebrated with "YES!" chants to end the segment, as the commentary team hyped Stephanie's revenge on Monday Night Raw tomorrow, and whether we'd ever see the former Divas Champion in the WWE again.
