NXT Tag Team Championship Match
The Ascension (c) vs. Sami Zayn & Tyson Kidd
Conner beats the absolutely hell out of Zayn to start this match out. The crowd starts chanting "one more time" as he beats away on him in the corner with stiff kicks. In comes Victor, who levels his opponent with knife-edge chops. Finally, after about five minutes of getting destroyed, Zayn fires back with a top rope crossbody. He rolls over to tag his partner, but Kidd bails from the ring and laughs at him. The Ascension hit Fall of Man for the relatively easy victory.
Winners: The Ascension
-NXT ends with Sami Zayn knocked out, and Tyson Kidd looking totally apathetic at the top of the ramp, while the tag team champions celebrate their victory.
KILLAM: Well that's…one way of furthering the "Tyson Kidd is a dick" character. I was going to say that, ironically, even though Zayn and Kidd aren't a tag team, they're the biggest competition the Ascension has faced in what feels like five years. But nope. Not anymore.
