Kane Fights Hunger At Food Drive, TNA Announces Another Big Match For NYC Tapings

WATE.com, an ABC News affiliate in Tennesee, recently published an article detailing how WWE Superstar Kane was part of a local food drive. Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, teamed with The Journey Church to sponsor a food drive in Maynardville, Tennessee.

Kane signed autographs for some of the one thousand people who showed up, and he was quoted in talking about community pride. Kane said:

“I think it’s imperative that people support folks in our community that might need help,” Jacobs said. “I think it’s a great effort. organized by the journey church here in union county and i’m just happy to be a part of it.”

 Another Match Named For TNA NYC Tapings

TNA Wrestling just announced Samoa Joe will face off with the returning Low Ki at the next set of Impact Wrestling tapings next week in New York City.

Low Ki, who returned during the previous set of tapings at New York’s Manhattan Center, is scheduled to face Joe and Sanada in the X Division championship finals next week (previously taped) on Impact Wrestling. No information was provided on any title implications, just that the two will face off at the August 5th tapings. You can view the announcement with a teaser image below:

This is the second of two matches announced today by the company. The Wolves will also face the Hardy Boyz and Team 3D, and the August 5th taping is being advertised as being the return of TNA Hardcore Justice.
