9/4 WWE NXT Results: Neville, Kidd, Breeze and Zayn Prove Themselves Before Next Week’s Championship Match

(2) Tyler Breeze def. Tye Dillinger. Tye actually did a lot of the work, staying in control early on, and escaping rest holds pretty easily. Breeze ended up catching him with the Beauty Shot.

Backstage, Tyson Kidd talks about the 4-way title match at next week’s show. He says there’s one guy in the match considered the best high-flyer in the business, another who honed his craft in Japan, and another who gets away with being cocky and arrogant, because he backs it up. But there’s also one man who was trained in the Heart Dungeons. In a twist, ALL of those men are Tyson Kidd, and Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze and Sami Zayn are all afterthoughts.

(3) Tyson Kidd def. Adam Rose. Pretty typical match for Rose, who sold for the majority, but hit his signature moves near the end including the big spinebuster. Kidd won by submission with the Sharpshooter.

It’s Sami Zayn’s turn to talk about the title match at NXT Takeover 2. He says there’s an advantage to being a challenger, and that’s that he can pin anybody in the match. He says he won’t leave a doubt in anybody’s mind, and would like to pin the best man in the match, Adrian Neville.

(4) Sami Zayn def. Marcus Louis. Quick match; Zayn wins with the Koji Clutch. After the match, Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out and attack Marcus Louis from behind. They try and shove his head in a bucket of hair removal product (which was plugged in a pre-recorded video earlier), but he gets away.
