WWE Removes CM Punk Merchandise, Vince Comments on Takeover 2, Backstage NXT Updates on Baron Corbin & Mojo Rawley

WWE Removes CM Punk Merchandise

As we noted last week, WWE slashed prices on CM Punk merchandise shortly after a 22 page letter was sent to WWE by Punk’s attorneys, regarding royalties.

WWE has since completely removed all CM Punk merchandise from WWEShop.com, and all searches related to CM Punk yield no results.

Vince Comments on Takeover 2

In response to last night’s NXT Takeover 2 special, Vince McMahon posted the following on Twitter:

Backstage Updates on Baron Corbin & Mojo Rawley

With regards to Baron Corbin’s “debut” at NXT Takeover 2 last night, Corbin, who is a former NFL player, has worked numerous NXT events in the past, but since WWE is now giving him a renewed push, they decided to give him a “clean slate” and bill his Takeover 2 appearance as his NXT debut.

Corbin’s real name is Tom Pestock, and he is a former Guard for the Arizona Cardinals.

In other Takeover 2 news, Mojo Rawley, who suffered a cut on his face during his bout against Bull Dempsey, is coming off a recent knee injury.
