According to PWInsider.com, WWE teasing the “Next Generation” on Raw Monday night will likely have nothing to do with any type of invasion angle involving NXT stars Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Hideo Itami, Kevin Steen and Fergal Devitt.
Although WWE has been calling that group the next generation as of late, the tease will more likely have something to do with WWE 2k15 and either the gameplay for next-gen consoles, or the announcement of the NXT stars having a bigger role in the game.
It should be noted, however, that Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Tyler Breeze and The Ascension are all confirmed for Raw Monday night.
Paglino: Both Roman Reigns and Cesaro hyped the “Next Generation” Raw tease on their Twitter accounts, which makes it even more unlikely for the tease to be any type of NXT invasion angle. If it were I don’t see why Reigns and Cesaro’s characters would be aware of it or furthermore hyping it.
