According to Wade Keller of the Pro Wrestling Torch, sidelined WWE Superstar Ryback has recovered from his injuries and has been since cleared to wrestle.

Ryback has been out of action since August, when he posted a YouTube video reportedly from a hospital room where he had surgery. Ryback said he “needs to get fixed” and he was wrestling hurt for most of 2014, with injuries including a strained groin and two sports hernias.

The reason he has not made his return to television, however, is WWE is waiting to try and figure out how to properly reintroduce him. There was discussion that his return could include some changes to his character and a renewed push as a singles wrestler.

Before he left to undergo surgery, Ryback was most recently teaming with Curtis Axel as Rybaxel, and they were involved in a short feud with Goldust and Cody Rhodes.
