10/29 TNA Impact Wrestling Results: Roode vs. Lashley for the World Title, Tag Team Tournament Begins, Hardys in Action & More

James Storm comes down with the Great Sanada and Manik. He says that there is a Storm coming – get it!? He claims that Sanada was weak under the guidance of the Great Muta, but now he’s a winner. Manik was a faceless nobody with no purpose, but now preaches his gospel. He says that any of them can become champions, and extends an offer to Davey Richards to join them.

-Davey Richards makes his way out, and Storm tells him to remember what he did when his partners tried to hold him back. He asks him to join the Revolution, but they are interrupted by Eddie Edwards. He tells Storm to back off, and that Davey isn’t going to join some ridiculous cult. Davey says that he can talk for himself, but Storm and Eddie get into it, and a challenge for a match is thrown down as we head to commercial.

Eddie Edwards vs. James Storm

After the break, Storm is in the ring, picking apart Eddie, as Davey is standing at ringside looking conflicted. Storm puts him in a rear chokehold, but Eddie comes off the second rope and drops down, breaking it up. He goes to the ropes, but Storm catches him with a brutal Hangman’s DDT. Manik is talking to Davey on the outside, and gets hit with a baseball slide by Eddie, who takes exception to it.  The Wolves have words, and Edwards turns around into the Last Call Superkick for the 1-2-3.

Winner: James Storm

-After the match, the heel trio stands on the ramp and looks dominating, as Davey checks his fallen partner.

KILLAM: I like James Storm a whole lot, and his group is giving some great screen time to two guys that deserve a lot of attention. I just don’t understand what Davey is conflicted about. He’s got a long-time tag team with his best friend, that has already found success around the world and in TNA, pitted against… Storm’s lack of proof of concept? Not enough for my standards.
