Backstage News on “Raw Reunion” Show: NWO to Reunite, Rollins vs Cena, Will the WM32 Location Be Announced?

wwe rawAs we reported yesterday, the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas will be hosting WWE Monday Night Raw on January 19th, and the show is being billed as a “Raw Reunion.” As of now, original NWO members Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan are scheduled to appear, as well as WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.

The show is the go-home Raw taping for the Royal Rumble PPV, but interestingly enough Brock Lesnar has been pulled from advertisements for the event, despite him defending the WWE World Title against John Cena later in the week.

As of now, the tentative plan for the 1/19 Raw is to announce that WrestleMania 32 will be taking place at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.

Also advertised for the show is a John Cena vs. Seth Rollins “Lumberjack Match” with 30 lumberjacks. The bout is being billed as “the biggest lumberjack match in the history of Dallas.” It’s believed that the match will serve as the actual television main event of the show, with all 30 lumberjacks hitting the ring for the finish to simulate the wildness of a 30-man Royal Rumble match, as the show is the final Raw taping before the Royal Rumble PPV.

Update: Since we posted this story, Brock Lesnar has been added back to advertisements for the show on WWE.com and the arena website.
