Brock Lesnar Named “Wrestler of the Year” by Pro Wrestling Illustrated; Charlotte Comments on Winning the Same Award as Her Father

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar was voted the Wrestler of the Year for 2014 in the official Pro Wrestling Illustrated year-end awards issue, available now in print and digital formats. The featured article is entitled “How to Win Wrestler of the Year in 61:49”, and covers Lesnar’s incredible year winning the world title, ending the Undertaker’s streak and destroying John Cena in just four matches. 

NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte was voted in as the “Rookie of the Year”, almost 39 years to the date that her father, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, won the same award in 1975.
