WWE Addresses Rumors of a Tapout Deal

aj lee Following rumors that the company might be announcing a licensing deal with Tapout, the MMA centric apparel company, WWE issued the following statement:

“WWE is exploring several partnership opportunities, however we have nothing official to announce at this time.”

AJ Lee Advertised for WWE Live Event

AJ Lee is being advertised for the WWE SuperShow on January 24th, which takes place at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, close to where she grew up.

As noted, Lee addressed her current status on Twitter, revealing she’s healing up a lingering neck injury, and she also shot down rumors that she’s pregnant.

Foley Taking a Break From Facebook

TAKING A BREAK

I’m going to be taking a break from Facebook for a while – probably until after the Royal Rumble. Some of you are aware of the headaches I get from looking at computer screens for more than a few minutes. After making the decision to home-school my two younger children, I have to make the most of the time I do spend in front of a computer screen – and right now, that time can best be spent doing my best to educate my kids. Besides, the less time I spend online, the less chance I have of writing things that I’ll regret.

I’ll catch up with you in a few weeks. In the meantime, I’ll be watching (and usually enjoying) WWE Monday Night Raw, and ‪#‎NXT‬, catching up with my friends in Impact Wrestling on their new channel ‪#‎DestinationAmerica‬ and trying to learn more about the great independent wrestlers out there who really are the lifeblood of the wrestling business. After spending a couple hours watching Kevin Steen/Owens matches from ‪#‎RingOfHonor‬, and seeing the dedication on display by so many of the athletes who have graced ‪#‎ROH‬ rings (Briscoes, Adam Cole, Davey Richards, El Generico, to name just a few) I have come to further appreciate just how fortunate I was to have had so many breaks go my way over the years.

To this day, I believe that if it weren’t for the breaks I had with Sting in WCW in 1991, and The Undertaker – WWE Universe in 1996, wrestling, and life would have turned out far differently for me.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
