As we reported last week, WWE Main Event has been pulled from the WWE Network indefinitely due to a broadcasting conflict with Sky Sports.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting negotiations between WWE and Sky Sports have stalled, and unless things change, WWE will be unable to air Main Event on the Network until geo-blocking is installed on the Network live feed. This is something WWE had not planned on having in place until the summer or early fall of this year.
Due to international commitments, however, WWE will continue to tape Main Event, as the company did this past week, as the show still airs on TV in several international markets.
As of now, there is no way to watch Main Event in The U.S. with the exception of Hulu Plus, so the show will be booked as nothing more than filler TV until it has a bigger home in The United States.
