Adrian Neville does a backstage promo about not becoming #1 contender at Takeover. He says he spent the last year being hunted by everyone in NXT, but now the tables have turned and its his turn to give a little of that back.
CJ Parker comes out to the ring with a sign that says “CJ Parker is taking over the takeovers”. He starts putting yellow police tape all over the ring, but the lights go out and Solomon Crowe comes out of nowhere and attacks him. He grabs a microphone and says “and now we return to your regularly scheduled broadcast.”
SASHA BANKS vs. BLUE PANTS
The crowd chants for Blue Pants. Sasha poses in the ropes and Blue Pants kicks her to the floor. She hits a drop toehold and rolls up Sasha for one, but the champ hits her with a Thesz Press. Banks does the double knees in the corner, but refuses to pin her. She hits the Bank Statement for the submission win, and holds on for a few seconds to rub it in.
