Rob Schamberger heads to San Jose to face off with a different sort of canvas
KANSAS CITY, Mo.—(March 3, 2015) Painter of champions, Rob Schamberger, returns to the grandest stage in sports entertainment: WrestleMania 31. The renowned wrestling artist will, for the second consecutive year, paint live outside of Axxess in the three days leading up to WrestleMania 31.
“Painting at last year’s WrestleMania XXX Axxess was a life-changing experience for me,” Schamberger says. “From painting the huge mural, to meeting the fans, to hand-painting the duster worn by Ultimate Warrior, it was a huge week for me. That makes it all the more exciting to be a part of it again this year, painting The Macho Man Randy Savage, who leads this year’s class of WWE Hall of Fame inductees.”
Schamberger is no stranger to the canvas, as seen in his weekly video series on WWE’s YouTube channel, Canvas 2 Canvas. At Axxess, however, Schamberger will work with a different sort of material: he’ll be painting live on a piece of ring canvas provided by WWE.
In addition to painting live, Schamberger will have prints and original frame-ready paintings signed by the WWE Superstars and Divas for sale. And the best part? Because Schamberger is stationed outside the doors of Axxess, no tickets are required to watch him do what he does best.

Preview for This Week’s Two Part Total Divas Finale
This Sunday night, E! will be airing a two episode season finale of Total Divas. The following is the synopsis for each episode, airing at 9pm EST and 10pm EST:
9pm Episode: “Paige invites her new hookup to tag along when the Three Amigas vacation in Key West, Fla.; the Bellas are shocked by a nude picture of their brother; and Nattie gets to meet Grumpy Cat.”
10pm EST: “Season 3 comes to an end with the Bellas considering signing a three-year deal. Meanwhile, Paige asks Bradley to move to L.A., but then she discovers a skeleton in his closet; and Eva’s husband puts her relationship with the WWE at risk.”
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
