As noted earlier, Alberto El Patron had ended up “no-showing” an advertised benefit show in Texas this past weekend.
Clutch City Productions, who promoted and sponsored the event, released a statement on the situation, saying they did end up receiving an explanation from Alberto’s camp, but were choosing to keep the matter private due to a personal reason.
Alberto himself has finally made his first comments since the missed event, echoing the statement made by people close to him noting he was dealing with a personal problem. Alberto’s comments (via Twitter) can be seen below:
