Wesley Blake & Buddy Murphy vs. Angelo Dawkins & Sawyer Fulton
Another shot tag team match. The champions work over Dawkins for most of the match – only a few minutes long – using the quick tags and numbers game. Fulton makes the tag and they briefly build some momentum, but Alexa Bliss causes a distraction and they hit the suplex/frog splash finisher combo for the win. After the match, Bliss commands them to the go back after them, and the champs beat them down even further, ending with Bliss actually hitting the Spark Splash on Dawkins.
Winners: Blake & Murphy
-Sami Zayn makes his return to NXT dressed in so much black-and-yellow he looks like Hideo Itami making his entrance. He thanks the fans for all the support they’ve shown him over the last couple months, but unfortunately will be out of action for quite some time. He won’t be back this year. Sami says that time heals all wounds, and this wound will heal, and when it does he’s coming for Kevin Owens’ ass.
