Hulk Hogan Reportedly Upset with Vince McMahon and WWE for Cutting Ties with Him, Cites Vince Using a Racial Slur on WWE TV, More

Hulk Upset with Vince McMahon?

After the WWE distanced themselves from Hulk Hogan for using a racial slur, TMZ is reporting that Hogan is upset with Vince McMahon and posted a video of Vince using the n-word  in a backstage promo. In the video Vince is backstage with John Cena and called him the n-word, Booker T overheard the conversation and says to Sharmell “did he just say that.”

WWE addressed the video, saying the segemnt was “”an outlandish and satirical skit involving fictional characters, similar to that of many scripted television shows and movies.” TMZ did not quote Hogan, but they did say “Hulk is outraged Vince is acting so self-righteous, condemning him for spontaneously using the epithet in private when the wrestling boss used it in a premeditated way, on TV and for profit.” You can read the entire TMZ article here.

While the decision to say the n-word on TV is questionable, you still can not compare this to what Hulk Hogan said. This was used in a satirical way and I’m sure they talked to Booker T and Sharmell before the promo. Hogan, on the other hand, used the word negatively and was intentionally derogatory. Also TMZ wasn’t able to directly quote Hogan, so whether or not Hogan is actually upset with the WWE is uncertain.
