New Japan Pro Wrestling King of Pro Wrestling PPV Notes
Early today New Japan Pro Wrestling’s King of Pro Wrestling PPV was shown live here in the United States. During the show it was noted that IWGP Heavyweight Champion Okada will be defending his title against Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event of the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 10 event. It should be noted that Okada has never defeated Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdown.
It was noted on the air that Wrestle Kingdom 10 will be streamed on New Japan World streaming service. It is not at this time whether or not it will be streamed via traditional PPV here in the USA. King of Pro Wrestling’s New Japan World stream had a variety of buffering issues for fans that were watching via the English-language stream. Other than that there were no other production issues.
It was also revealed that the masked man who attached Hiroshi Tanahashi was Watanabe. Watanabe has spent some time earlier this year with Ring of Honor. He came out at King of Pro Wrestling alongside Tetsuya Naito.
