Seth Rollins Talks About Meeting Rude Fans, Never Leaving The Midwest, How Did He Get Involved With Jon Stewart?

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins spoke with the Chicago Tribune ahead of tonight’s WWE RAW at Chicago’s AllState Arena. 

Rollins talks about being from the midwest, rooting for Chicago teams, his attitude towards rude fans, and much more. You can read a few excerpts below: 

Rollins talks about how his angle with Jon Stewart started: 

Jon caught wind of the segment because one of his assistants was a fan. She said, “Hey, you should make a video replying to what Seth Rollins said about you.” Sure enough, it popped up online and things kind of snowballed from there. He helped me win the US Championship at SummerSlam. It’s cool how stuff happens. Jon was tremendous. It helps that he’s a fan of what we do. I’m a fan of what he does. I’d been watching him on “The Daily Show” for years. One thing I never thought I would get to do is end up on “The Daily Show,” not once, but twice. I’ve had a few people come up to me and say “I don’t watch wrestling, but I saw you on ‘The Daily Show.’” That’s kind of cool.
