Alberto Del Rio’s Return to WWE Forces AAA to Change TV Taping Plans, Scheduled Tapings Now Postponed

AAA has announced that the TV tapings scheduled for Monday have been postponed to a later date, mainly due to the Alberto Del Rio situation. Del Rio is currently the WWE U.S. Champion and the AAA Mega Champion. Kris Zellner of The Lucha Report notes that AAA was headstrong about Del Rio working their tapings, and they even advertised him as the WWE US Champion.

AAA Vice President Dorian Roldan Pena posted a Tweet last week commenting on Del Rio’s WWE return and subsequent U.S. Title win, and teased more was coming from Del Rio in AAA, but now that might seem unlikely:

Del Rio has been confirmed for WWE Raw on Monday night and it’s possible he might not return to AAA to drop the Mega Championship.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
