EVOLVE Wrestling is most likely scheduling their upcoming January events on Royal Rumble weekend (EVOLVE 53,54,55) to avoid a conflict with the WWE events that same weekend in Orlando.

EVOLVE is hosting a show Friday, January 22nd in Tampa’s Ybor City, but will run afternoon shows the following two days in Orlando at the Orlando Downtown Recreation Complex, which is walking distance (about a mile) from the Amway Center. Not only will the venue host the WWE Royal Rumble, but it is expected that WWE will run a NXT event on Saturday night in the area, a likely reason for EVOLVE’s 2 p.m. start times on the weekend.
Peanuts
Rebecca Bloom, who is the daughter of wrestling agent Barry Bloom, is the voice of Marcie in the new Charles Schwarz / Peanuts film. Bloom is currently an agent for Chris Jericho, Jim Ross and Triple H, and is considered the first “major” wrestling agent.
CAC Reunion
The Cauliflower Alley Club will host it’s annual reunion in Las Vegas on the weekend of April 11th, 2016. Greg Gagne, Jim Brunzell and Lance Russell will be honored, with Jerry Lawler, Terry Funk and Gene Okerlund also appearing.
