As noted earlier this evening, WWE was preparing a statement in regards to the now controversial segment on WWE RAW this week between Paige and Charlotte.
According to F4WOnline.com, WWE has issued the following statement, echoing earlier reports that Charlotte would be named responsible for pushing for the promo, but WWE is responsible for allowing it to air in the end:
“Subject matter this personal is only approved as a result of the strong advocacy of the talent themselves. Notwithstanding that, WWE is ultimately responsible for what airs in its programming.”
