On who he thinks winning the Royal Rumble and consequently the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is best for business:
AK: I think Triple H winning the Royal Rumble would be best for business. Typically at WrestleMania you want the heel to be a champion so the babyface can chase him. It would be kind of awkward if that is the projected WrestleMania main event: Triple H vs Roman Reigns. It would be awkward if Reigns was the champion and Triple H was in a role where he was trying to take that title away. What you typically want and what you’ve had at the higher drawing WrestleManias. WrestleMania 30 broke records at the time. That was all about the ultimate chase with Daniel Bryan going after The Authority to win the title. I think Triple H is going to wind up with the title and we are going to get Roman Reigns chasing him in to ‘Mania.
On why he thinks Vince McMahon is a better rival for Roman Reigns than Triple H:
AK: When I say that I think he is a better rival for Roman Reigns I mean… we’ve gone about as far as we can go with the whole Triple H heel authority figure. Until Triple H wrestles Roman Reigns and gets physical with him in the ring I think we’ve seen all we need to see. Vince McMahon as a heel authority figure adds something fresh. Adds something novel. It also gives Roman Reigns that stamp of approval. Vince doesn’t just feud with anybody. Anybody who he’s feuded with, whether it be a Shawn Michaels or The Rock or Steve Austin… it’s a rising star or a bonfide legend. They are all current or future Hall of Famers. To have that notch on your belt that Vince McMahon is going to feud with Roman Reigns is huge for Reigns.
On Brock Lesnar entering the Royal Rumble and going for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship:
AK: Originally I thought he was the early favorite. I would love to see Brock Lesnar win the Royal Rumble. Now that it’s for the title I think that it’s very unlikely to happen. I think that there’s definitely a direction for this program. They are doing this to setup a WrestleMania main event so that Triple H doesn’t face Roman Reigns for the title at the Royal Rumble. They can wait until WrestleMania. I don’t see Brock Lesnar winning this match. Although I would love to see that.
