Lucha Underground
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting Cage and Jack Evans have been nice surprises during season two tapings, as both have gotten a lot better this season and are over with the crowd.
Cage is considered to be an ‘ass kicking babyface’ and Evans is a cocky heel who thinks he’s a ninja.
As far as the season two finale show, the “Ultima Lucha Dos” show, it will be taped on January 31st in Boyle Heights, CA. The top three matches will see Matanza Cueto defending the Lucha Underground title against Pentagon Jr., Rey Mysterio Jr. versus Prince Puma, and a “Gift of the Gods” match where the winner opens season three as the number one contender; the match will feature El Texano Jr., Daga, Marty Martinez, Killshot, Sinister de la Muerte, Sexy Star and Mariposa.
Tommaso Ciampa
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, eventhough he worked the NXT Road Trip tour this past week, Tommaso Ciampa is still not signed to a WWE contract. He is continuing to work for the NXT brand, as well as taking independent dates for the next few months.
