Billy Corgan Talks Taking the Misogyny Out of Pro Wrestling
TMZ recently spoke with TNA’s Billy Corgan, and during the short interview Corgan says one thing that needs to be fixed about pro wrestling is the misogyny prevalent in the business:
“I think there is a whole host of ways to portray women in wrestling in the future that sort of gets away from the typical misogynist stuff. I think [Ronda Rousey] embodies everything that is about smart, sexy, and tough, I think that’s shown to be a huge marketable asset.”
