Shinsuke Nakamura News, Why The NFL Should Thank The XFL, New Kevin Owens Shirt Preview (Photo)

Shinsuke Nakamura

PWInsider.com is reporting Shinsuke Nakamura is in Pittsburgh today, likely undergoing medical tests for WWE.

Nakamura, who arrived in the United States earlier this week, is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando before returning to Japan before coming back to work NXT Takeover in Dallas.

XFL

TheComeback.com recently posted an editorial taking a look back at the lone season of the XFL, and what it meant for the NFL developing as a league. You can read an excerpt below, and click here to read how the XFL changed camera technology, player access and more.

… Much like the USFL or ABA before it, the XFL’s legacy will live on in the way it influenced the bigger, stronger, more traditional league it was attempting to replace. Perhaps unlike those predecessors, the XFL will also be remembered mostly for how it influenced the way we watch the sport rather than the way the sport itself is played.

No, you won’t see The Scramble in NFL games anytime soon. You certainly won’t ever see an NFL TV broadcast linger uncomfortably on cheerleaders’s bodies nearly as long. But there are plenty of aspects to the way you watch the NFL in 2016 that come directly from this one-season-wonder.

Kevin Owens

WWEShop.com’s Twitter account posted the following photo of a new Kevin Owens shirt that will be available for purchase in the near future:
