As noted, Justin LaBar first reported on Wednesday, via Twitter, that Titus O’Neil’s 90 day WWE suspension for unprofessional conduct had been reduced to 60 days.

In the opening segment of Chair Shot Reality this weekend, more information is provided on the current O’Neil situation, and it appears the suspension was not the only form of punishment handed down to O’Neil. Below are some highlights from the segment, which you can watch below:

Justin LaBar:

There have been a lot of moments I can defend WWE and try to look at multiple angles to see where they’re coming from—and this guy’s is not one of those moments. I think this is outrageous and I don’t understand this. 60 days is what they give people who violate their second wellness policy violation. Titus has a clean record. Never been late to TV. Doesn’t violate the dress code. Does more charity consistently than anyone in WWE. Was it the wrong move to try and have a jovial moment with his boss given the situation? Yes. But that doesn’t equate to 60 days. You address that behind closed doors. To add insult to injury, I have it from sources [O’Neil] also got fined a significant amount of money. I don’t get it. If anyone is going to win out of this, it’s Titus O’Neil. WWE doesn’t have him on TV for however long if they follow through with the 60 days. Titus O’Neil two hours before the “incident” has a TV winning streak that ended by being rolled up by Adam Rose and 12 hours later he has been trending became the number 1 babyface because people are rallying behind him.

Josh Isenberg:

He grabs the arm of Vince McMahon and it wasn’t a joking mater, but it wasn’t a somber moment. 15,000 people chanting “Yes” to Daniel Bryan while Bryan is celebrating and it was on the Network, whatever. I don’t know the thought process. This isn’t good publicity. It makes WWE look immature and amateurish. It goes back to everyone thinking Vince McMahon has an ego and the ego shines through here.

Brian Gulish:

There have been rumors of unrest and backstage hasn’t been taken seriously, there is no one better than Titus O’Neil to take this. From what I’ve been told, Titus has a good relationship with Vince. Take your medicine and move on. For those who think this has to do with race, you’re the one causing these problems. WWE is pushing teams like New Day and this has nothing to do with color. Stop using social media and stop watching. Maybe not 60 days, but there is need for suspension because if you grabbed your boss…you just can’t do that.

The conversation continues about the unbalanced punishments given out in recent years as well as LaBar mentions he writes about how WWE could and should turn this into a storyline to save face. Watch the full video conversation below:
