Jim Ross On Michael Elgin In NJPW, WWE Almost Launching An MMA Company, How He Would Turn Bray Wyatt Face, Bellator 149, More

On how how he would turn Bray Wyatt face:

JR: I think that the presentation that the WWE has created for Bray Wyatt and his entrance is really stellar. It’s extremely stellar for a babyface. It’s not so productive for a heel. If they don’t care about babyfaces and heels then so be it. If they are positioning Bray Wyatt to be a villain and he’s got one of the coolest entrances in the company that encourages and you get rewarded by the camera shots of audience participation… you’re asking the audience to participate with the bad guy. With this evil, psychotic bad guy, really? To me that’s a disconnect in my view. I am of this belief. I think that Harper, Strowman and Rowan could be a group. I think they could very easily turn on Bray Wyatt and he would be a red hot character babyface. Virtually overnight. It’s just a matter of sitting back and not having any pressure on you. Being able to see the forest from the trees and all that good stuff.

On the bout between Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 at Bellator 149:

JR: It was exactly what I thought it was going to be. I didn’t predict the trip to the hospital for Dada 5000 but you knew they were going to fatigue early. You knew it was going to be sloppy. You knew it was not going to be high level MMA. It was like ending the night with the Andre the Giant Battle Royal.
