WWE NXT star Apollo Crews spoke with Mike Jones from DC101 to promote tonight’s NXT Takeover Dallas event and the following are some interview highlights. You can watch the entire interview in the video player below:
NXT tickets were so hard to get for tonight:
“Hearing something like that shows you just how far NXT has come. The sky’s the limit for us and we’re going to keep climbing and climbing! We start off in Brooklyn and then we go to England and now we’re here here, having Takeover on Wrestlemania weekend, possibly the biggest history making Wrestlemania ever!”
Meeting fans in Dallas from all over the world:
“You’ve got people coming from all over the place so it’s cool. I was walking, getting something to eat with friends and people came from Italy, from France, traveling from so far. It’s crazy how they come from so far, it’s worldwide!”
The match tonight with Elias Sampson:
“Its not going to be anything easy and he’s going to bring everything that he has. I’m ready, he’s ready, and we’re going to have some fun in front of 10,000 people.”
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
