Mike Jones of DC101 recently spoke with AJ Styles to promote WrestleMania 32, and the following are some interview highlights. You can check out the entire interview in the video player below:

Taking it all in before Wrestlemania:

“I saw it (the set) being built, which is unbelievable. But just to sit in the stands and just see how huge AT&T Stadium is, that’s unbelievable. And the fact that there will be people packed in there like sardines… Oh man, that’s exciting!”

A big Royal Rumble debut:

“I remember telling Triple H, “Hey, number 2 sounds pretty good to me!” Because I would love to have that entrance and he goes, “hey, you’re going out number 3.” Oh, that’s great, that’s cool. And the way they did it, where Rusev got eliminated pretty quickly, I had the stage all to myself. You couldn’t ask for a better debut.”

Working with Y2J:

“Jericho and I are very much alike. Went through the same roads to get where we’re at, wrestled all over the world. Jericho says he is the best in the world at what he does and you can’t really disagree with him, the guy’s been there, done that. I’m just happy to get in the ring with him and happy to have the opportunity at Wrestlemania!”
