According to TMZ.com, suspended WWE star Adam Rose, real name Ray Leppan, went before a Hillsborough County judge this morning, and when the judge attempted to put a restraining order on Leppan, which would keep him away from his wife, Leppan’s wife reportedly begged the judge to reconsider so Leppan could return home to help raise the couple’s special needs child.
The judge was reportedly concerned with a pattern of abuse behavior, as a separate domestic dispute took place between the couple back in March.
With regards to Leppan’s recent arrest, he is facing misdemeanor domestic battery and felony tampering with a witness charges, but his lawyer argued that Leppan’s actions were “not aggressive or painful” but “more of a passionate, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this'” situation.
The judge ended up reconsidering and a bond of $1,000 was eventually settled upon. The Hillsborough County sheriff website has not updated to show that bond yet but Rose could be out by the end of today. He was ordered to see his pastor once a week for counseling. His next court date is in June.
