WWE World Champion Roman Reigns appeared on ESPN’s Off the Top Rope segment tonight hosted by Jonathan Coachman. During Reigns’ appearance, the Champ talked facing AJ Styles at WWE Extreme Rules this Sunday night and more.

You can watch Reigns’ appearance in the videos below, and the following are some highlights, including Coach’s Raw highlights from Raw last night:

Coach talks the past 6 months Roman Reigns has had in WWE, and asks the Champion how it feels to main event WrestleMania two years in a row now. Reigns says it was a blessing to be in the main event of WrestleMania 31 and 32. He calls Triple H a ring general, and the Cerebral Assassin, and then calls Brock Lesnar “The Beast.” He added he’s never faced a guy who is as strong as him like Lesnar, and he feels he fared well against the Beast even though he lost.

Coach then brings up NXT and the influx of new talent on the WWE main roster, and Reigns says it’s totally different in WWE now from when he debuted. He said he when he came in there were a lot of “old dogs” in WWE, but he said him and the members of The Shield have put their roots into WWE, and now WWE is his house and he’s “the guy.”

On advice for new superstars, Reigns says he would tell any new superstar just to believe in yourself. He says with social media you’re gonna hear a lot about what people think of you, but you just have to know yourself and what you’re doing.

On facing AJ Styles, Reigns says Styles is a world traveler, and has made his mark everywhere, but he’s in the company now, and it’s Reigns’ house. Reigns says he hopes he will come out on top at Extreme Rules, and he’s looking forward to doing special things at Extreme Rules with Styles.

On being a polarizing figure in WWE, Reigns says every night is a different night in WWE. He said it’s live, and you get different types of crowd psychology every night, and he loves learning and progressing and getting better.
