Cody Rhodes says he hopes to address his situation and give some answers as to why he announced that he requested his WWE release yesterday.
Rhodes, posting on his personal Twitter account for the first time since announcing his request yesterday, said the following:
All the reports I’ve seen are 100% false & just speculation.
Hope to provide answers by this evening.

Not much is known about the situation yet, but the reports Rhodes refers to could be the ones about him reportedly leaving this week’s WWE Smackdown tapings early. PWInsider.com first reported Cody and brother Goldust left the tapings early, but as it was noted, that does not necessarily mean the early departure and Rhodes’ request are related.
