Austin Aries vs Elias Samson
Samson grabs and armbar, but Aries reverses it into an armbar of his own. Samson forces Aries into the corner. Aries fights out but ends up eating a shoulder block. Samson puts Aries into a head scissor, but Aries headstands out of it and lands a dropkick to Samson’s face. Samson drops Aries on the top rope. Samson stomps on Aries then whips him into the ropes for a clothesline. Samson locks in a seated cobra clutch. Aries picks Samson up for a knee breaker into a back body drop. Samson gets dumped to the outside. Aries dives through the ropes and takes out Samson. Aries tosses Samson back into the ring. Aries destroys Samson in the corner with a running drop kick. Aries lands a brainbuster. Aries locks in the last chancery for the submission victory.
Winner- Austin Aries
After the match, Aries says that at NXT Takeover he will prove the spotlight should be focused on him.
The Revival vs Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano
Dawson locks in a side headlock to Gargano. Gargano whips Dawson into the ropes and hits a drop kick. Wilder gets in the ring and meets a dropkick of his own. Gargano tags in Ciampa. Gargano kicks Dawson in the back of the head, followed by a running knee by Ciampa. Dawson pushes Ciampa into the corner. Dawson and Ciampa trade chops. Ciampa runs over to Wilder and knees him in the face. Dawson dumps Ciampa to the outside and distracts the ref. Wilder floors Ciampa on the outside as the referee is tied up with Dawson in the ring.
