NXT Title Steel Cage Match: Samoa Joe (c) vs Finn Bálor
Joe tries a few quick jabs, but Bálor dodges them. Joe pushes Bálor and high tails it to the door. Bálor cuts him off, but Joe punches him in the face. Joe lands a few strikes and tries to toss Bálor into the cage. Bálor puts on the breaks and dropkicks Joe. Bálor tries to toss Joe into the cage, but Joe puts on the breaks. Joe whips Bálor into the corner, but as he charges in Bálor gets his feet up. Bálor drops Joe with another dropkick. Bálor tosses Joe into each corner and chops Joe. Joe sits on the top rope, but Bálor enzguris him off. Bálor tries to climb over out of the cage, but Joe crotches him on the rope. Joe proceeds to toss Bálor into the cage over and over again. Joe whips Bálor into the corner, hits a running back elbow followed by a falling reverse enziguri. Joe face washes Bálor in the corner. Bálor kicks out at two.
Joe tosses Bálor into the cage once again. Joe tries to exit the cage via the door, but Bálor cuts him off. Bálor kicks Joe in the head and dives out of the cage door. Joe grabs Bálor’s leg and drags him back in the ring. Bálor misses a right hand, which allows Joe to grab him by the waist and level him with a German suplex. Joe tries to climb out of the cage, but Bálor stops him. Bálor starts to climb out, but Joe enziguris Bálor off the cage. They both hit the mat hard. Joe sets Bálor up on the ropes. Joe charges at him with a head of steam, but Bálor moves out of the way. Joe sails head first into the cage. Joe is trapped between the ropes and the cage. Bálor lands a few running chops. Bálor goes for another, but Joe moves out of the way. Bálor slams his hand into the cage. Joe locks in the coquina clutch. Bálor stuns Joe on the rope. Bálor hits a running drop kick. Bálor climbs the cage. Joe tries to stop him, but Bálor kicks him in the head. Joe collapses on the top rope which makes Bálor get crotch on the top. Joe goes for the muscle buster, but Bálor reverses it. Bálor kicks Joe in the head for another near fall.
Joe and Bálor climb the cage. They trade strike while standing on the top rope. Bálor hits the sling blade off the top rope. Joe kicks out. Bálor hits another sling blade in the ring. Joe destroys Bálor with a uranage suplex. Joe sits Bálor on the top and finally hits the muscle buster. Bálor kicks out! Joe tries to power bomb Bálor into the cage, but Bálor wiggles off Joe’s shoulders. Bálor hits another sling blade. Bálor hits two roaring dropkicks into the corner. Bálor mounts the top rope for the coup de grace. Bálor hits it, but Joe kicks out! Bálor tries to lock in 1917, but Joe reverses it into the coquina clutch. Bálor escapes. Bálor tries to climb out, but Joe cuts him off. Bálor kicks Joe off. Bálor almost gets out of the cage, but Joe grabs Bálor leg. Joe pulls Bálor back in and muscle busters him off the top rope for the pinfall!
