My opening segment of Wrestling Reality on TribLIVE Radio was all about information I’m learning about what to expect with the brand split. It includes:
- Return to traditional color branding with the ring ropes
- At least one new entrance set. I explain the situation with that
- New intro videos but the difficulty there having with that
- What the talent knows in regards being drafted
- The second world title and what it won’t be
Here’s some excerpts of what was said in the video:
A second world title will be returning, a new design has been created. So unless they decide to scrap that design, It seems they are not going to be going back to the traditional WCW title as the second one. From those I’ve talked to who have seen this design, the consensus is it doesn’t look good. We’ll let your eye decide that.
A new entrance set will debut. Here’s what I heard about this—a new set was being designed and believed to be for SmackDown considering it’s moving to a new night and it would be good to have a new look. I’ve been hearing that was the original plan but most who know about this that I’ve spoken to now believe the new set will be going to RAW. So, take it for what you will. But at least one of the show seems to be expecting a new set.
