WWE social media accounts are posting ‘breaking’ updates about a massive food fight that took place before tonight’s WWE RAW.
The 4th of July themed angle will be featured on tonight’s show; WWE.com posted the following:
The pre-Raw Fourth of July celebration backstage at Columbus, Ohio’s Nationwide Arena began in surprisingly civil fashion earlier today, when friends and foes on the WWE roster gathered to celebrate America’s independence with food, music and some friendly competition. Less friendly, however, was the massive food fight that left all attendees covered in condiments, charred meats and side dishes.

Bob Backlund
It was previously noted that Bob Backlund was on the road with WWE this weekend, appearing in Darren Young’s corner at last night’s WWE live event in West Virginia.

David Otunga posted the following photo, revealing Backlund is backstage for RAW tonight. While nothing is confirmed, it’s been speculated that he could appear with Darren Young on television tonight. Backlund has been acting as Young’s “life coach” in recent taped vignettes, but they were recorded in WWE’s TV studios not on the road.
