WWE.com posted a new article to promote the efforts of WWE Superstar Heath Slater as he has started a fundraiser to help residents of Clay County affected by recent flooding.
Slater talked to WWE.com about going to help his home state and told them:
“I took it upon myself to go to West Virginia,” Slater told WWE.com. “I went up to Clay County. They got hit really hard, and I had the most shocking-slash-humbling experience up there.”
Slater hopes to raise $25,000 over the next few weeks and has pledged to donate all monies raised to local charitable organizations. For more details, visit Heath Slater’s GoFundMe page for West Virginia flood victims here: http://www.gofundme.com/wvfloodheathslater
