Following the news that former WWE star Ryan Reeves has applied to change his legal name to Ryback, Pro Wrestling Sheet has acquired some proof that the process is still in progress.
Pro Wrestling Sheet says the process requires a petitioner (Ryback) to publish an announcement in a local newspaper three weeks before a court can approve, and Ryback did run one of these ads in the Nevada Law News last month. Court officials told Pro Wrestling Sheet that the request was made, but has not been signed off on just yet.
Ryback reveals the name change request on the latest episode of his Conversation with the Big Guy podcast with Pat Buck; he is petitioning to legally change his name to “Ryback Allen Reeves”.
