On his friend Kevin Owens winning the WWE Universal Championship:

AC: It was surreal to me. I told him this, I texted him right afterwards and I didn’t mean this as a negative I meant it as, well, as well as I know him. I knew he was going to win when I saw him come out. I could see it in his face. He had this same look on his face when he debuted in NXT. He had the same look on his face when he debuted at WrestleMania. He had that look of like, “This is my moment. This is my time to shine.” I was so excited and I could just feel it with the way that the match built and the way that he won was so cool. One of the coolest things is not just because we are super close. Not just because I’m such a big fan of his but so many people told him, “No.” So many people told him he would never amount to anything. He kept fighting. He kept grinding. The audience kept supporting him. Now he’s the top wrestler in the world. It’s surreal. It’s so cool. He’s very deserving. There are good wrestlers, great wrestlers and special wrestlers. I think Kevin is one of those special wrestlers. I think he is going to take this opportunity and make the absolute most of it. His legacy is just getting started.

Adam’s will be defending the ROH World Championship on September 30th at Ring of Honor’s All-Star Extravaganza against Michael Elgin.
