Natalya
According to wrestling statistician Darren Bongiovanni, last night’s WWE Smackdown Live featured Natalya’s first one-on-one singles match on the show since losing to Carmella on the August 9th episode.
Natalya competed last night against Nikki Bella for the right to captain the Smackdown Women’s Team at Survivor Series, but lost via submission.
Halloween Havoc
On this day 19 years ago, Rey Mysterio defeated Eddie Guerrero to win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship at Halloween Havoc.
Halloween Havoc 1997 took place on October 26th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Roddy Piper versus Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the main. The event is probably still most remembered by most fans for the ‘title versus mask’ match between Rey and Eddie, which is considered to be an all-time classic.
