Reported WWE PPV Schedule Plans For 2017, Full Lineup For Wrestle Circus’ The Main Attraction, Samoa Joe & Nakamura Sign For Takeover

The World Is Watching

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting WWE is looking to make a change in the WWE PPV schedule, including hosting a few less shows next year than had been originally planned. The Observer noted the plans have not been finalized, but a decline in WWE Network subscription numbers in September, even with two PPV’s that month, was cited as one reason for a retooling of the schedule.

Earlier this summer, WWE announced 7 events would be added to the upcoming calendar, totaling 19 pay-per-view events planned annually, but the complete schedule was never announced. So far, September and October saw two brand specific PPV’s each, and December will feature WWE Roadblock for RAW and WWE TLC for Smackdown. After that, the only confirmed events are the Royal Rumble, WWE Fastlane, Wrestlemania 33 and WWE Summerslam.
