RAW Cruiserweight star Noam Dar recently spoke with The Scottish Sun, talking about his RAW debut in front of his hometown, the new 205 Live series, and more. You can read a few excerpts below:

Noam Dar talks about adjusting to life in the United States:

“I’m based over in Orlando at the moment which is a big difference from Ayr. I’ve managed to settle in pretty well. Other than my family and friends, I’ve managed to be relatively okay but what  I’m really missing is my SkyBet and putting on football accumulators every week. Going into the bookies and obviously I’m not allowed to use the SkyBet app over here because it’s illegal in the state of Florida.

So that’s the hardest thing, not being able to put on 10 teams for a fiver on a Saturday and watching the coupon go down the drain. That’s probably the biggest culture difference. But the schedule has been fun really, it still really excites me.”

Noam talks about debuting on RAW in front of his hometown fans:

“I had a few ideas on how I would debut and how I would start off here. But at Monday Night Raw in your hometown at the Hydro was the perfect scenario. It’s still hard to come to terms with that moment.”

Noam comments on the benefits of the new 205 Live cruiserweight show:

“I am 100 per cent  going to be after the Cruiserweight championship and 205 Live will hopefully provide more chances to get into that championship picture.

I think fans can expect it to be similar to the Cruiserweight classic but I believe that 205 Live will provide a much more in-depth look at us not just as competitors but as characters. There will be a lot more character development and fans will be able to connect and hopefully that will translate to get fans to watch the cruiserweights. We are lucky to have this show and our division on the flagship show of Monday Night Raw.”
