As seen on WWE Raw last night, while an update on Seth Rollins’ knee injury was provided, as the announce team noted he suffered an MCL tear following his Raw brawl with Samoa Joe, nothing much beyond that was revealed. As for Rollins’ WrestleMania 33 status, Michael Cole said it was in “serious doubt”.
On today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, host Dave Meltzer confirmed that Rollins flew back to Birmingham, Alabama over the weekend, and following the visit to Dr. James Andrews, WWE is working under the impression that Rollins will be good to go for WrestleMania. Meltzer had the following to say:
“Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. So Triple H vs. Seth is on, and that’s what they’re working towards.”
