Backstage, NXT Commissioner William Regal announces that next week the WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate will defend the UK Championship on NXT TV. Billie Kay and Peyton Royce interrupt and demand a match with Liv Morgan next week. Next week Kay and Royce will face Liv Morgan and a partner of her choosing next week.
Heavy Machinery vs The Revival
Wilder grabs a side headlock on Knight. Wilder hits the ropes and tries to shoulder block Knight. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t work. Wilder tries over and over again to no avail. Knight picks up Wilder in a bear hug. Knight tags in Dozevic, then throw Wilder at him. Dozevic catches Wilder in a bear hug of his own. Wilder rakes Dozevic’s eyes to break the hold. Dawson tags in and floors Dozevic with a right hand. Dawson tags in Wilder, who he then picks up and slams onto Dozevic. Dozevic surprises Dawson with a back suplex. Dozevic tags in Knight as Dawson tags in Wilder. Knight clears the ring. Wilder pulls Dozevic off the apron as Knight tries to tag him back in. Dawson hits the unsuspecting Knight with a stiff DDT for the win.
Winners- The Revival
After the match, Wilder says everyone in NXT has forgotten that The Revival is the greatest tag team in wrestling today. Dawson says #DIY should have never been NXT Tag Team Champions. At Takeover: San Antonio #DIY got destroyed by the Authors of Pain. The Revival carried NXT on their backs. The Authors of Pain are going to be just a footnote in the Revival’s story. The Authors of Pain hit the ring and the Revival begs off. The Revival heads to the back. The Authors of Pain head to the back. The Revival attacks AoP from behind and runs off with the NXT tag belts.
