Update on Eva Marie and Kane at WrestleMania 33

According to PWInsider.com, Kane is scheduled to be in Orlando for WrestleMania 33 week, despite not being on the PPV card. Absent WWE star Eva Marie is not scheduled to be in Orlando for WrestleMania week, which might indicate her standing with WWE going forward might not be firm.

As seen below, Marie continues to promote projects outside of WWE, and interestingly, she has removed any and all references to WWE on her social media accounts, which might further that a return to wrestling is not in the cards:

John Cena Being Honored with Award Today

WWE star John Cena will receive the “CinemaCon Action Star of the Year Award” tonight in Las Vegas at Cinemacon, the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO). The award ceremony will be held tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Cena is currently in Orlando for WrestleMania 33, but will fly to Vegas to receive the award, then head back to Florida for ‘Mania week.

Ricky Steamboat Talks Still Receiving Fan Mail

WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat recently spoke with Sports Illustrated to discuss inducting Rick Rude into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Below is what Steamboat had to say on continuing to receive fan mail:

“I’ve been out of the ring since ’94, so that is going on 23 years. Last November, I celebrated 41 years of being affiliated in the business. In all that time, there is one thing I never, ever forgot—and that is my fans. I get about 100–120 pieces of fan mail delivered to my house every month, and I answer every single one of them. Some people send me questionnaires asking me my favorite match and my toughest opponents. People always say thank you to me, but no, this is my thank you to people for being fans.”
