STREET FIGHT

BRIAN KENDRICK vs. AKIRA TOZAWA

They brawl to the floor and Tozawa throws Kendrick over the announce table. He rolls him back into the ring and connects with a stiff kick to the jaw, then launches into a flurry with of strikes and chops. Kendrick backs off trying to dodge another chop, but Tozawa lands a one-two combo to the face instead. He goes for a dive but Kendrick catches him in the ropes and sends him crashing to the floor. They start looking for some toys, but Tozawa stops a table from being introduced and lays in with more kicks. He tries for a suicide dive but Kendrick threw his jacket in his face to blind him, then hit a big suplex off the apron.

TBK has his first moment of breathing room after a big boot, and grabs a roll of purple tape they use on the ropes. He tapped Tozawa’s mouth shut, wrapping it around his head, and locked in the Captain’s Hook. Akira got to the ropes but it’s a Street Fight so there’s no ropebreak. Kendrick tried for Sliced Bread #2 but got dumped over the ropes instead, crashing face-first into the floor. The two brawl up the ramp, bouncing each other off the entrance set and the LED board, before Kendrick took him back down the ramp and threw him hard into the steel steps. He went back to the purple tape, securing Tozawa to the ring post and began to whip him over and over again with his own belt.

TBK went under the ring and found a table, positioning on the floor. Tozawa came out of nowhere and slapped Kendrick in the face with the belt, then started beating him down with it. He went up to the top rope and tried for a double foot stomp, but Kendrick rolled out of the way and locked in the Captain’s Hook a second time. Without a ropebreak, Tozawa is forced to send them both crashing over the ropes to break the hold. Kendrick is up first, and bashes his head into the commentary table and off the steel steps. They went back and forth fighting on top of the steps, with Tozawa getting the better of the exchange, throwing him face first into the ground. Both men took their time getting back up, and Tozawa hit a snap suplex on the floor. They fought back towards the table as Kendrick tried for another Captain’s Hook, but couldn’t get it locked in a third time. Tozawa bounced his head off the steps knocking him out, then positioned his lifeless body on top of the positioned table. He went up to the top rope, pumped up the fans, then went crashing all the way to the floor with a huge cannonball splash, shattering the table and killing them both. After a minute, Tozawa picks up his opponent, slowly rolls him back into the ring, and covers him for the three count. Winner: Akira Tozawa
